FAQ

WHAT ARE YOUR SUNDAY MEETINGS LIKE?
On Sunday the whole church gathers together for worship, prayer and Bible teaching. When you arrive, you will be greeted by a member of our Welcome Team, who will point you in the right direction.

We start promptly at 10.30am with prayer, followed by a time of worship in song, singing a mix of modern songs and older hymns. There will also be a Scripture reading, some announcements, and another prayer. This is followed by an expositional Bible teaching, which typically lasts around 45 minutes. We close the service around 12pm, after which refreshments are served (free of charge).

I HAVE CHILDREN/TEENS. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Children and teenagers stay with the adults for the first half of the service as we worship in song. They will be released for their Sunday school classes, just prior to the sermon (when announced). We have two children’s classes: Discover (2-5yrs), Explore (6-10yrs), and a Youth Group (11-16 yrs). In addition, we have an unsupervised Stay & Play area for parents with children under the age of 2. If for any reason you would rather your child to stay with you in the main service, you are welcome to do that.

For the Children’s classes, you must accompany your child to the respective classroom and sign them in, and then pick them up at the end of the service (and sign them out).

Please read our Children’s Ministry page and/or our Youth Ministry page for full details.

WHEN DO YOU TAKE COMMUNION?
We take communion together in our Sunday worship service on the first Sunday of the month. We invite all born-again believers in Jesus Christ to eat of the bread and drink of the cup as we remember and proclaim our Lord’s death, until He comes!

WHERE CAN I PARK?
Botley Primary School has a car park. There is usually enough spaces for everyone, but we do advise arriving early as the car park can get quite full.
